Urban Salvager is proud to partner with LocalKind to support their vital work providing crisis support to vulnerable community members in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Every device you donate helps fund LocalKind's critical services - from food & material aid, to advocacy for people facing trauma, homelessness and domestic violence. Your old electronics become a lifeline for someone in need.

How LocalKind Invests in Our Community
Every dollar raised through this campaign directly funds LocalKind's emergency services:
Provides transport vouchers, food, or essentials for someone in immediate crisis — a practical act of kindness that brings relief and safety.
An intake session for a person facing domestic & family violence, beginning the journey from crisis to safety
Keeps a person sleeping rough safe and connected — supplying a safe space, connection, support & referrals, and outreach meeting people where they are.
Provides a full week of safety, recovery, and advocacy for a woman escaping violence or someone sleeping rough — turning crisis into calm.
Before You Donate
- Factory reset your device if possible (we understand this isn't always feasible)
- Remove any passwords, passcodes, or screen locks
- Remove SIM cards and memory cards
- Include chargers and cables if you have them (not required)
- Don't worry about condition - we accept all devices, working or not
If items aren't useable and have no useable parts, they will be recycled responsibly through our certified e-waste partners.
